LOVE

1 Corinthians 13:4- 8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is NOT easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. LOVE NEVER FAILS....

These are really powerful scriptures! If you read before that it talks about if you do not love but have all the faith or give away to the poor or anything like that, you are nothing. Love is so powerful! Go through this list of things in 1 corinthians again and ask yourself, are you patient? are you kind? do you envy or boast or are you proud? etc. Ihave to continuously come back to these verses to remind myself of these things. it really is not easy. I would suggest this to you and to me to memorize these scriptures write them on your notebooks, write them on a paper and post it on your wall, post them on your mirror, put it where ever it can encourage you and remind you each day to live like this, continuously make a list of ways to improve your walk with God and to love like you should. Hate the sin but love the sinner! While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.—Romans 5:8, NIV we have ALL fallen short do not judge people if you think they are not walking their life the right way but pray for them because that is Gods territory to deal with not yours.

Luke 6:41-42
"And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye? "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother's eye."

It's not always easy to love EVERY ONE to be nice and caring and kind to every one as the bible says, there is no way i would want to sit and be walked all over by some one being rude or hurtful and just let it happen with a smile on my face. I thought that, that was ridiculous when i heard that. There was no way i'd be able to do that...BUT GOD =) (A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare. Prov. 15:1) He worked with me and showed me how great it is and how awesome it feels to just let it go and give it all to him to deal with do not try and take on some one with harsh words bu let God work through them as well because we have all fallen short and at one point or another there was some one who could have very well judged us or even now we all have things that arent completely right in our lives, but they didn't! and those who did have their own stuff to deal with GOD!
Luke 6:27
"But i tell you who hear me: LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If some one strikes you on one cheak, turn to him the other also."

Luke 6:37
"Do NOT judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven."

  1. Cassie-WOW! Girl, God is definetly using you and your gifts! I am so proud of you and I have said this before and will say it again- God gave the world an amazing blessing the day you were born!
I love you and keep up the fantastic words of encouragement. Young people truly need to hear them in this day and age.It really sinks in when another young person is the encourager instead of just another "old" person. HUGS!
