Beauty

I love teaching young girls about what beauty means in Gods eyes and how you should look at yourself as being a young christian girl. I think every one should know what God thinks about his creations and I've always thought how can you say you love God the one who created you, when you don't love yourself, you were created in HIS image ("So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."-Genesis 1:27) I've dealt with a lot of girls with self confidence issues and that's very common in this generation with all the tv and magazines and so called "role models" that these young girls have now and i thought they should know who their real role model is. I looked up the definition to beauty and this is one of the definitions i got "a beautiful thing, as a work of art or a building." If you think about it, we are Gods art he created us, He spent his time with us, He built us from scratch exactly the way he wanted us! ("All beautiful you are my darling, there is no flaw in you" song of songs 4:7) When God calls you beautiful GOD the one who created this whole earth KNOWS that YOU are beautiful is just so awesome to know. It doesn't matter what that boy thinks of you or any girl who may say other wise, most likely she is probably jealous or has her own insecure issues. You never know what she grew up with either, she may have been picked on her whole life by her parents or others causing her to react and see something in you that she doesn't have so she stands on her defense and picks at your clothes or some little thing that makes no sense. I guess no matter what you do keep your mind open and stay optomistic! I think the best place to look for what kind of woman you should strive to be is all of proverbs 31!
